Stick incense is convenient to use but it has the addition of a wooden stick center that can change the scent. Wood shavings or charcoal is then bound to the stick and scented. This type of incense might be made with either synthetic Fragrance Oils or natural Essential Oils.
Most Cone incense is self=lighting and made from either wood shavings or charcoal as a base which is then scented. As with most stick incense, wood based cone incense will also have a wood scent added to the fragrance. However charcoal based cones have the advantage of no stick or wood being burnt and usually no charcoal tablet required. Incense cones are usually scented with Fragrance Oils and rarely contain natural Essential Oils.
Our powdered Spell Incense blends are made from all natural ingredients which are common to many mystical paths. Ingredients used in Wicca, Witchcraft and Kabbalist magic are often similar and most of our blends are based on one or more of these practices.
Incense Spells...
Healing Spell - This is done on any day during the first hour after the sun has set. Place on charcoal - 1 tsp Hyssop and 1 tsp Mugwort. Hold a coin in the smoke while saying "draw the wound; take from thee; pain or cut or injury". Make sure the coin is cool and place it on the wounded area for a few minutes (this can be you or someone else's wound). Then remove it and place the coin itself on the burning charcoal and herbs. Let it set there until all the heat, smoke and fire are gone (until cool), then bury the coin in the earth. Within 1 day the wound should begin to heal.
Simple Love Spell - Burn our Love Binding Incense while saying "Come to me through wind and tree; that love may grow from you to me". Close your eyes and repeat this verse 3 times while concentrating...and increasing, the feeling of love within you for the person. When the incense is out blow it's ashes into the air. The person should find themselves drawn to you the next time they see or think of you.
Not so simple Love Spell... Use our powdered Venus Incense on Friday morning, during the First Hour of Sunrise, during the New Moon... light the incense and face the direction where the person is at. Speak the persons name and say "I love you with all that is in my heart and reach to waken the same in you". Focus on the person and build the feeling of love inside you until you feel ready to explode. Picture the persons image in your thoughts the whole time.
Repeat the words 6 times and allow the incense to completely burn out. Take some of the ashes from the cool incense and place them where the person will touch or pass near them. Within 6 days of casting the spell the person should be anywhere from nicer... to madly in love with you. At the least they will in some way be connected to something that happens to you in the romantic department!
The ashes and spell will only work for whoever the entire spell is conducted for...giving the ashes to someone else to use will not work. To strengthen the spell burn a green candle during the spell and add 6 drops of our Venus Spell Oil to the incense before burning.
We believe all incense should be burnt so that the smoke can reach the open Air and travel out into the world. If you are performing a spell associated with Earth, Water or Fire extinguish the incense with one of these elements when finished.
